What are Electrolytes? There are 6 minerals in your body that contain an electrical charge and hence are called electrolytes. These electrolytes can affect how your muscles function and how much water you have in your body. They also play a role in nutrient transport into cells, PH balance and supporting the function of nerves, muscles, heart and brain. When you exercise intensely for an hour, your electrolyte levels are reduced as you sweat and it’s important to replace them to perform at your best. Electrolytes are key components in many bodily functions and athletic workouts where adequate hydration is a necessity.*
The 6 electrolytes influence multiple aspects of bodily function and support:
Magnesium: Involved in hundreds of biochemical reactions in the body and helps support multiple areas including, muscle and nerve function and energy metabolism.*
Calcium: Supports bone health but also plays a support role in heart and nerve function as well as muscle contractions.*
Sodium: Plays a key role in the regulation of fluids in the body that are outside of cells. Maintaining the proper fluid balance is important to performance as it impacts both muscle contractions and nerve impulses. During intense exercise, sodium is lost more than any other electrolyte. This higher loss of sodium can lead to muscle cramps and a loss in performance.*
Potassium: Acts as a main fluid regulator inside the body’s cells and plays a key role in supporting intense exercise and performance. Potassium is also critical to preventing muscle cramps in combination with sodium, and helps the body in managing glycogen replenishment after workouts.*
Chloride: Supports muscle contractions and is one of the most important electrolytes in the blood. As It helps keep the amount of fluid inside and outside of your cells in balance.*
Phosphorus: Helps the body produce ATP which the body converts into energy to support muscle contractions. It also supports the growth and repair of tissues and cells.*
Amino Acids
Taurine: supports cellular hydration by helping regulate fluid balance. Taurine also supports the movement of other electrolytes into and out of cells.*

Just when you thought it couldn’t get better EVL has Hydramino. Getting electrolytes while getting your Amino Acids doesn’t get any better than that. Staying hydrated while training is/should be a goal for everyone and I highly recommend this product. If you’re into amino acids this kills two birds with one stone. As for the flavor, EVL never disappoints and this new Fruit Punch is no different. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to hydrate and take in amino acids. Aka EVERYONE!

Great flavor. Small scoop with a lot of flavor. Usually only need half a scoop per 24 ounce, and it still has a lot of flavor. It also has stopped all of my leg cramping during my workout.

Definitely feel more hydrated during workouts. Flavor is great. Was worried it would be too sweet but it’s just right. Wish it had more aminos but it is still a great intra-workout drink. Recommended for sure.

Directions For HYDRAMINO Electrolytes + Amino Acids: As an electrolyte supplement, mix 1 scoop of HYDRAMINO® in 10-14 oz of cold water before, during, or after exercise (vary amount of water by taste preference).
Warnings: This product is only intended for use by healthy adults 18 years of age or older. Do not exceed recommended serving amounts or daily intake. Do not use this product if you are pregnant, contemplating pregnancy or nursing, if you have any pre-existing medical condition or if you are taking any prescription or OTC medications.
